Has anybody seen any decent numbers of Doves?
It seems like around mid-September they disappeared.

The property I hint didnt do a draw this year, I dont know of people hunted it cause I was elsewhere. Beem seeing lots of birds flying in random places at the property. Youd need a dog if you were hunting them, but could do pretty good.

Usually during deer gun season I start to see nice groups of late migrators but none so far this year not even a single.

My dad's property has a ton of them on it right now. 160 acres of ag field with a creek on one side and a couple spring fed ponds. I've been walking the ditch for ducks every now and then and there are always at least 100 doves out there.

Lots of doves roosting in the pine trees in front of the house and in the evening they are going to the pond for water.

Went to Lafayette and back this past Sunday and while traveling I saw several nice groups of doves ranging from 10-30 picking grit along the sides of the roadway.
We still have a couple days left to hunt it might happen yet.

Well tomorrow is the last day they are legal to hunt in Indiana until next fall. A source from the state of Kentucky says they are there thick in the western part of the state so much so they are focusing on them now since the ducks are almost nonexistent.

I have had doves here all winter. Usually about 12-15 around the feeders each day.
