Anybody doing any hunting? Now that I have my deer put up it's time to start chasing some fowl. By what I have been seeing there isn't much out there. ASKING FOR A FRIEND.  |

ASKING FOR A FRIEND. ::) I am not a duck hunter but I live on a 66 acre lake. I have seen fue ducks stop in so far this year. In the past 3 weeks i saw 2 diveing ducks,1 swawn,a flock of geese after sundown and 3 unknown ducks acc the lake. That is it. We normally do not get a lot of feathered friends stopping over but so far this year we are way low on numbers. I know that is not what you wanted to hear but that is like from my little corner. I have seen so many geese and ducks where I work its unbelievable ,never seen as many before.
And since season has came in I haven't heard a single shot when normally I hear shots.
Now where I live and hunt is very very scarce on waterfowl.

Its been like that for the last 2 months. Dont know where they all came from or why they are staying so long other than the mild weather.

I was up in Northern Wisconsin Monday/Tuesday. The lakes are freezing up there, but still open about Stevens Point area and further South. Saw a ton of geese and ducks around Horicon Marsh.
