Today my son killed his first ever turkey. He killed it with the crossbow, which also made it his first archery kill. I’m super excited and he is bringing home the meat this season so far. He killed his first squirrel, which was the first animal he’d killed while out on his own, he killed his second ever deer, a 6 point buck on youth Sunday, and now his first turkey. All of these kills have taken place on our little 7 acres.
