Brother in law took this picture yesterday at the Indian dump just north of me. Easy 500+. That’s a nice bear but if they are dump bears ain’t worth a crap to eat at least that’s what I’ve been told. Back when I was younger we’d go to the dump in White River Canada to watch the bears eat hard to believe that was a tourist attraction at one time but it truly was

Any idea why the bear has a bump on it's back just in front of it's hindquarters? Big bears get that just before winter, fat reserve! Ive skinned some that had fat 8 inches thick on their rump.
