Brian and his buds got there spot saved at 9pm last night. He said they got there minutes before another group got there. I was all cocky and told him I would sleep in and get to my spot a hour before shooting time....MISTAKE, someone found my opening day honey hole. I had went in last week with a weed razor and made me a nice landing hole, got my blind spot ready for brushing, had all my brush cut and piled. Guess I'll be camping on my spot next opener!!!

Not bad for now but still to early to tell. Last year we had 0 rice, that never helped. This year is still below average rice year.

Brian and his friends limited across the road from my house, 1 banded woody. My birdboy Nick and his little brother managed 10 ducks, and a grouse on the way out. Kid is pretty happy with his young dog I gave him as a pup.

Great pic! Too bad about your spot. I'll bet the guy(s) that found it were thankful that you did all the work for them.

That is a real nice photo of those 2 young men and that good looking pup.
If you find out where that WOODY was banded post it, kind of curious to see if he was banded up there or else where.
