I had my left foot reconstructed 18 years ago. This year I've put up with issues. I know 1 screw came out all the way and now the platelets are moving. Getting xrays tomorrow. Couldn't take the pain anymore. Thinking early December for surgery date. What is weird that it doesn't hurt when wearing shoes and walking. It will be interesting how long I can sit on stand. Take shoes off or lift foot it is painful. No big deal. This will be my 3rd surgery.

It sounds like it does better with compression on it or support for it. Good luck!!

Always something isn't it! Hopefully it will let you get by until you can get it fixed.

It sounds like it does better with compression on it or support for it. Good luck!! I pretty sure the screw came out and the plate is not right. When I put pressure I think it is pushed in place. Right in the middle lower center of the foot. I can feel the screw. Last time I was in a boot with a morphine drip bottle strapped to my leg. Had it on for 12 weeks and it could not touch anything. Even sleeping. Hoping not as bad or as long with a boot.

I pity your pain. I just can't take much.
Wife says her ankle still hurts from surgery.

LOL, Yeah, but I can't take it. A nurse told my wife that she'd never heard anyone praying for God to take them now! I was thinking that I couldn't take anymore. I was ready for someone to put me out of my misery.

When they put the screw back in, tell them to put some loctite on it this time!

I'll tell you what's amazing. It's been 7 years now since my pacemaker/defib was put in and it still has 40% remaining. It runs 25-50% of the time. It fluxgates depending on my social media time. LOL
Hey, I think they could make a better battery for trail cams.

Good news. No surgery. I've had moderate RA since puberty and I had major surgery 18 years ago. Well good old arthritis has moved in big time in the area of the surgery. X rays did conform the screw is out, but it only bothers me when I wear new shoes for the firs few times. It sticks out some. About a quarter inch to 3/8th. Going to get shots if it gets worse. Just have to live with it like I've been. Leaving the screw in for now.

I have the whiskey and bourbon , electric angle grinder and pneumatic die grinder. I think the shield on the angle grinder will be a little cleaner. I will use the whiskey, but not the bourbon.
