I went to the Sporting Clays range last weekend. Shot like poop, but what did I expect for not shooting since last May or June? At least I remembered the skinny end of the shotgun shell goes in the gun first. Anyway....... Asked for them to order me a Sig Sauer P938 Legion. (SKU 938-9-Legion) HA!!! They checked all their suppliers and nobody has one. He then checked his suppliers to list all 9mm pistols that are available in inventory. The page came up blank..... A friend and customer that knows where to find things when it comes to guns searched for me today. Not a one in the USA in inventory........ So I told the Sporting Clays Range to put it on back-order and I will wait. Impatiently, but I will wait.

Hey, if you happen to need any ammo, I've ammo that I couldn't find anywhere else on Optic Planet. It's not one's first thought as their ammo source, but they've got some.

Last time I was in Evansville Rural King they had 9MMs. No ammo for them though. Evansville Academy has ammo on Monday, Wednesday and Fridays . Get there before the open and get in line.. I was in there late Wednesday and picked up another 130 rounds of 556. I didn’t look for 9MM as I have plenty. You can do a “Notify me when back in stock” at RKGuns.com . www.rkguns.com/sig-sauer-p938-9mm-compact-pistol-938-9-brg-ambi-15030.html

Fortunately, (or unfortunately), I`m not in the market for firearms right now, so that doesn`t affect me, but the ammo shortage is a bear. I don`t even buy ammo that often, but when I`m looking, it`s hard to find the .45 ammo I like and trust, and even if you do, you can usually only buy a box or two. It`s just crazy.

LOL, I dropped 3 on the first station, two the next and a few after that, so I ended up with a 90. As for ammo, that I have a supply of, plus I have a bunch of components to reload if I get bored.

OR roll down an incline, go about 3' once they hit dirt and fall over. Typically a few guys from where I used to work get together the first or 2nd Saturday of every month to shoot there, first thing in the morning.

I have over 3k of 40 and 2k of 10mm loaded. A couple thousand 223 to keep me going, plus enough components to loaded a couple more thousand.
Only thing im short on is 357/38 bullets. But I dont shoot those a lot, and 308/284 because I was either slacking or in load development.
I learned my lesson in 2008, and again in 2012.

Jump on armslist, they make it clear that there is a shortage and want to take advantage of it. 500 dollar guns are on there for “1000 firm.” Boxes of ammo for double retail. I don’t get it.

Cabelas still packed with ammo. Saw some primers on the shelf and made a run for them. They are small rifle like I want, but are bench rest and $129.99. Pass.

There's no 243 ammo to be found near me. Went to three gun shops yesterday and they all laughed when I asked.

They didnt last long! There were 4 bricks when we got there, and all gone in an hour when we left! I asked 2 employees about any others, but said no. So I kept going back to recheck just in case they put any others out.
I did score some powder at Bass Pro at least, and Luke got more fly tying supplies, so the trip was worthwhile. That and a stop to Golden Coral. Oh yeah!

Think they were $39.99/20. I specifically looked for 243 at BP and Cabelas and that was it. TONS of 223/5.56 and 308, 9mm, 40, 45.
