Hey everyone, just wanted to let you guys know about a pretty good deal I took advantge of this morning. Given that most (if not all) ammuition is in short supply right now, I wanted to make sure I would have ammo for ducks/geese this fall. Didn't know if shotgun ammo was sparse or not, but I'm glad I looked as it was much harder to find than I expected. A lot of places seem to have a limited stock (or no stock) of common steel shot. Anyway, mackspw.com had Winchester Xpert HV cases on sale for $99-$109/case depending on the shot size selected. On top of this, Winchester has a rebate of $2/box, meaning that you can get 250 rounds of steel duck/goose loads for $7.90/box or $0.31/shell which is a pretty good deal for steel shot especially given that ammo is in short supply right now. Hope this helps someone out.

One more thing to add: one of the shot size options is a new load (I've never heard of it) that is a mixture of size 2 and 3 pellets. I've only found one review on them and the guy said that they were amazing for ducks. Sounds interesting. Those are the shells I bought. Figured I'd try them out.

What gauge what length are we talking about. I got 3” 12 gauge, but I believe they have different lengths and gauges available.
