Woodmaster, like the good son he is, gave me a TactaCam Reveal Cell Camera. We put it on our food plot to see what is visiting it. I love it that I can sit on my back deck, drinking coffee and check my photos. I’ve not got any “shooter bucks” on it yet but I still eagerly check it every morning. I’m impressed with the job it’s doing and the quality of the photos.  . |

I’m liking these cell cams. Mine’s a spypoint. The only thing is having a cell signal where you put it. In Perry county I have no signal but in vanderburgh I do so that’s where it’s at. More for finding out who is going in the woods at the private farm.

I received my 2 reveals a couple weeks ago, Im liking the results of it so far. I have one for the hunting spot and one for the campgrounds down on the Ohio for surveillance after someone broke into all the campers and cut the power cords to them. Its working out good, Ithought there might be a signal issue but it has been sending pics of the lawn care service cutting the grass.
Ordering 3 more when they become available.

Every now and then I get an email from TactaCam stating certain stores have them. Not often is it a store in my area. I’ll post it next time I get another email if I get one |

Stumbled upon your post from 2020 about the TactaCam Reveal Cell Camera, and I couldn't help but join the conversation even if I'm a bit late to the party. It sounds like you've got a pretty awesome setup going on there, especially with the luxury of being able to check photos from your back deck with a cup of coffee in hand! It's interesting to note how trail cameras have evolved over the years, becoming more and more user-friendly while offering high-quality photos. I was reading an article recently at archerytopic.com/best-cellular-trail-camera/ and wanna say that any of these cameras now offer not only superb photo quality but also extended battery life and more efficient data plans. Might wanna take a look at them. |

How do you like the app they run? I have Moultrie cameras and I think I’m going to sell them. The cameras are awesome, but the app….. half the time when you open it up, if you click on a picture it’ll close the app. Out the pictures won’t load at all, or you request a video and it won’t come through. Then, when you contact support, they treat you like a moron and send you “tips” which include deleting and reinstalling the app (having to do this every time you want to look at a picture is time consuming and absolutely ridiculous.) and if that doesn’t solve it, they tell you that your SD card is corrupted and to get a new one (even though I’m still receiving pictures?)
If I find a brand with a better app, I’ll switch cameras.

I have had zero issues with the app. Always opens and works anytime I try.

Been running the Reveal X cams for 3 seasons now and really happy with the cams and the app. I had 2 cams die on me last year and luckily they were still inside the 1 yr warranty and so the manufacturer replaced them.
