Even if you didnt fill all your tags it still must have been a fun adventure. It would have been great if I came back empty handed!

Looks like a great trip! Those long drives can be tiresome, but definitely worth it.

I'm glad that you had a successful hunt, too bad about the partners getting sick. I hear you on the long drives, I did a marathon drive all by myself one year from Montrose Colorado to here. IIRC it was 18 hours. I stopped once to get fuel. I always run with a radar detector, and about 2am a BMW blew by me. NOBODY else out on the road - this was still way out West. I let it get ahead about 3/4 mile and matched the speed. We went for almost an hour at triple digits, then the radar detector started beeping. I slowed down, the Policeman was out at the side of the car when I went by.

How did the weather effect your hunting I think you guys had summer then winter then summer again in one week?

How did the weather effect your hunting I think you guys had summer then winter then summer again in one week? Not real good. The cold wet weather wasn't real conducive to hunting water holes. Later on when it warmed up and cleared the smoke burned your eyes and nose.
