But, how do they work? With the lighted nocks, they move slightly forward when shot to turn on and you move the nock slightly backwards to turn off. How would you turn these off after the shot? You need to see if the arrows have enough forward weight so the point of impact is the same and the grouping is the same.
I had arrows from Barnett that were just barely enough FOC to shoot with the regular nocks, put the lighted nocks in them and the group opened up to 6" at 20 yds. I switched to gold tips with a weighted insert behind the broadhead and the accuracy came back.

You just use your finger nail to pop it to the off position. My ten point shot just a little differnt last year of course I had a broad head on too, to fine tune with the lighted knocks.

I got some of the Alpha Brites but my Omni Brites are a lot brighter. my Horton Storm doesn’t have the extreme string angle of the narrow limbed TenPoints so Omnis work just fine for me.

Woody that's a big money maker for 10 pt right there. 3 knocks and lights. What do you think they have in a 3 pack? Couple of bucks.

parrothead, I've used the Burt Coyote illuminated nocks for a number of years now. O.K., now I see that they will retrofit into the alpha nocks but not any others. Bummer....

It was a worth a shot esshup to look into it. Agreed, although I didn't pay attention to the first post closely enough, I don't have those type of nocks.

Most companies will charge what the traffic will bear. Nocks do have to be tough as the full weight is driving against them.

Average 5-7 cents on the plastic, 15-20 cents on the LED, and 50 cents on battery. So at most 1 dollar. I know a 12oz beer bottle is around 16 cents. When I worked for Sam Adams each bottle was 11 cents.
