Yep, yesterday. Sighted in after 6 bolts put three touching all shafts, luckily didn’t tear any fletching or hit any knocks.

My first thoughts on this now are it’s as accurate as heck, I did shoot a knock off today at 40 yards. There are some things I don’t like: the decocking feature takes a few steps I wasn’t aware of, I talked to Barry at customer support who said those concerns will be addressed. Also the quiver is junk and that comes from Barry, there is a new better quiver coming next January. Overall the bow is better than my Stealth SS. Weight is balanced good and is easy to cock, no more strings like on the old acudraw , the acuslide has a nylon band that should never wear out. On a 1-10 scale the bow is a solid 8 overall.

You order it from Wyvern Creations? No, from a company called A1archery.

I ordered the bow package. Got the Viper S400 In graphite black with 6 arrows and tenpoint sling and 6 broadheads and ten point hat for $1529.00. About same price every where I looked.

Bill, would you recommend it?
I just purchased a Stealth NXT, but haven't shot it yet. They came out in 2018. I like looking at it. LOL It's narrow and feels good until I rolled over on it ...guess I won't sleep with it anymore.
I was looking for anything over 400ft/sec. I'm not too picky, so I'm sure I'll like it.

After Trey died, I thought I would never own another crossbow. I gave mine and his away after he passed. Time did help me. It's been four years now. Not sure what gave me the bug, but I'm actually excited about it.

Dennis, yes I would recommend it. The weight is balanced and it’s no heavier than my stealth ss is. Remember if your going for 400 feet per second speed you have to shoot a lighter grain bolt. I shoot a 450 grain centerpunch bolt and still get 365-370 speed for better penetration. Hope this helps.

Also, the cocking mechanism is much easier than my stealth.

The trigger pull is about 3 1/2 pounds and smooth.

I looked up the stats and it looks like the FP KE is really close for either the 400 or 450g on mine. At 400g and 410FPS = 143FP KE, and 450g 385FPS = 144FP KE, which makes sense to me. I actually have both bolts, so I guess I'll see how they fly. Just guessing that the 400g would have a flatter curve??? Bill, have you shot these different weights with the same model broadhead? Just curious if faster has a greater in-flight response? Do you understand my question?

No, just the centerpunch bolts with 450 grain.
