I'm watching a nature show. I got the Kool-Aid in the refrigerator and will make some buttered pop corn later when it starts. One of Trump's guys is supporting Biden. Actually more than a few of Trump's X's are supporting Biden. I think our guns are safe even if Biden wins. There is no way I'll turn in my guns. I might watch CNN and or MSNBC and chomp on some of that buttered pop corn. The Democrats are stupid when they go anti gun. Hey moose.... your man ready for tonight? we will be going “LIVE from the BUNKER” hope the reception is good that far under! Hehe Right now Trump is down in the bunker. Joe is going to kick him out soon. Trump has his popcorn and hydroxychloroquine pills ready next to his twitter account. He will be tweeting stupid stuff until the wee hours of the morning. Trump can't take any criticism as he is so insecure that it drives him nuts. Trump thinks he is the greatest thing in the world but the truth is that he is the worst business man in the world. He had to file for bankruptcy 6 times and lost all his father's money. He is in debt to the Russians up to his eyeballs. And pretty soon the State of New York will indict him and send him to prison. And no one will be able to pardon him out of that mess.

The Supreme Court has a 5 to 4 GOP majority and they will protect our gun rights and 2nd amendment rights. If not then it was a waste of vote for Trump as he appointed members to the US Supreme court that are not doing their job for the 2nd amendment. I agree, but think I see at least one opening in the next 4 years.

Just a quick turn back to the oriental point of the thread: Indiana must do two things; first they must do away with their illegal, unconstitutional red flag law, and; they must adopt constitutional catty. Period.

Schumer has already said he would do away with the filibuster. That means they can ram through anything they want and the Republicans would be powerless to stop them. They will expand the SCOTUS and load it with liberal activist judges. Any law they pass will get a pass from SCOTUS.

That's why it's critical for the GOP to keep the Senate and retake the House and keep the presidency. THEN that gives Trump 2 years to get a lot of stuff done before having to worry about another election for the Senate and House.

Schumer has already said he would do away with the filibuster. That means they can ram through anything they want and the Republicans would be powerless to stop them. They will expand the SCOTUS and load it with liberal activist judges. Any law they pass will get a pass from SCOTUS. That is true. I remember when the Senate for the deliberative body and slowed things down. Back then one needed to have a super majority to get things passed in the US Senate. 66 votes were required to break a filibuster. Now all it takes is a majority for many things in the US Senate. Both the dems and the gop have made changes that allow the senate to pass legislation or to confirm judges faster. Back when the Dems had the White House, Senate (Tom Daschle/Harry Reid) and House of Representatives they still could not get things passed due to the US Senate Rules. The Republican use the filibuster rule to block legislation on health care and other issues. Then Harry Reid in the US Senate changed some of the filibuster rules but not all of them. Later when Mitch McConnell came to office he changed the filibuster rules and made it easy to confirm SCOTUS and other federal judges with a simple majority. There were a lot of vacancies because the GOP blocked a lot of Obama's judicial appointments. Mitch plays hardball politics. So now Mitch was able to get two new people on the SCOTUS and then fill a lot of the empty federal judge seats with conservative leading judges. So I can see why the GOP would fear the Dems getting the Senate and House of representative as well as the White House. The Dems certainly will change the Rules in the Senate if they get the chance. This country is so divided these days. In the 1970s the Senate would verbally joust in the Chamber by day and go out to dinner together at night. It's not like that these days. These days my main concern is health care. That effects me more than anything else.

What would you like to see done with the Health care system... Moose? You didnt ask me, but Tort reform would go a long way to lowering healthcare costs IMO.
