New York AG files law suit to dissolve NRA

I have mixed feelings.  If the GOP would put up someone like Bush #1 I'd vote for the GOP.  

I've told you my priorities before.  

The environment is my number 1 priority.  I got tired of seeing polluted rivers back in the 1970's.  Remember it was the GOP under President Nixon that created the USEPA.  I worked with toxic materials for over 30 years.  And I hate what I'm seeing with the dismantling of the Environmental Regulations as I can see the future with unregulated industry. The industry needs to be regulated because we saw that they are unable to regulate themselves. Even the US Air Force can't regulate itself and has burned materials next to bases and contaminated their own people. 

Fishing and Hunting was my second priority.  The reason I went into Environmental Science was to help clean up the waters where I fish.  

Now in the past when we had less people I hunted as a young man.  But since the woods that I hunted have been developed I have not been able to hunt there anymore.  

So I got into shooting at the rifle range and really enjoyed doing that.  I gave up fishing and put all my boxed of ammo and gun supplies in front of my boat in the garage.  But my heath has gone down hill since and I can't even go shooting much anymore.  

I do believe in the US Constitution. But the US Supreme Courts in the past have weakened the 2nd amendment and the Supreme Court is the one that determines what the Constitution actually means.  Now there is not much I can do to change that.  I think that they were wrong to approve the laws that were passed to control guns but I'm not a justice and my opinion doesn't carry any weight.

And I like Trump's stance on the 2nd amendment but I can't stand a liar and Trump lies and exaggerates way too much for my taste.  

I'm not that Keen on Joe Biden either as he wants more gun control.  But at least Joe wants to help protect the environment which is why I would vote for him over Trump.  I only hope that the Current US Supreme Court would take up some gun cases and make it clear that the 2nd amendment should be followed not changed by judicial activism. 

And the are things that Woody won't allow me to talk about in here anymore so I can't even get into the biggest news item of the last six months. 

I posted about the NRA to see what others are thinking. I'm not a member of the NRA but thought about it a lot.  I would have joined the NRA as I support their agenda. But I think that the present leadership has abused their authority. Col North said so much but they kicked him out.  Wayne La Pierre needs to go and they need to appoint new board members to get the funding straightened out. They should be using the money for filing law suits to stop the over reach of gun control.  Instead they are paying the CEO for trips to Africa and buying him expensive suits and other luxury items. That needs to be fixed.
