They're good rifles but the 209 doesn't seal the breechplug and so you get residue in the little "action". I'm using a 25 ACP breechplug which eliminates that residue. www.prbullet.com/hornet.htmBy the way, I don't buy the accuracy improvement he talks about. It does make the gun cleaner though.

Just FYI, with the discusion of the proposed reg change regarding muzzleloaders. The 25 ACP case acts like a Disc in a Disc rifle. The powder still has to be loaded from the muzzle and there's no way to load it from the breech. It's just a substitute priming system. You also might want to check with a conservation officer to be sure of legality. I know it's legal here in Illinois as I have checked with two different CO's and both say the same thing.

I read all about this and if it is legal here in Indiana, I will be ordering one for my Encore!!!!
I also like this companies assortment of bullets!! Anyone on here tried any of their bullets? Experiences?
Can we buy direct from them?
Thanks.

I also like this companies assortment of bullets!! Anyone on here tried any of their bullets? Experiences? Can we buy direct from them? I've not tried any of them. I'm not fond of pure lead bullets. You lose velocity and penetration with lead bullets. As far as I know you can order them directly. This is another seller of those bullets. www.bpbullets.com/

I bought my Omega and I love it. Hey grappledad...I'm an Omega fan also. I've had two and they have both been great. The only reason I sold my first one and purchased the second one is because I wanted the camo/stainless model. It is accurate, consistant, and easy to clean.

Is T/C/ going to make the Omega in a .45 caliber ? Shawn They do, but you'll have a hard time finding them. The .45's don't sell well.
