I just bought and installed a Mcarbo spring set in my Ruger LCP. I am very happy ugh with the results. I do not have a scale but I am guessing it dropped the trigger pull to at least half. The kit has a reduced firing pin return spring, hammer spring and trigger return spring. My daughter struggled with the old springs so we shall see how this works for her.
I took about an hour to complete the changes. Partly due to the fact firing pin retaining pin was in very tight. I did not a small enough screwdriver to easily push the sear to the right position and that took some finigalling to get it in the right position but I made it. Next the hammer spring rod slipped and I spent some time finding it.
After getting it back together I tried it for function and safety. I then loaded it up and ran a mag of my most used rounds through it. I had good primer dents, no problems with reset. It did as it should. I am happy with the kit, the instruction video and what I feel are improvements to the trigger pull. It may be me but the slide seems to rack with less effort also. Never touched the recoil springs.
