Ive never heard of a hunting/target permit. What are the circumstances in which I would need to have this? Also, the 5 year concealed carry permit is now totally free? Or is there still a fee for fingerprints or hidden fee of another kind? Thanks

My wife is in the middle of her lifetime application and is $90 in so far without the local fee paid yet. That is federal part and fingerprint fee.

We shouldn't even be required to ask for permission from government to exercise our Second Amendment rights, criminals already carry without a permit. Indiana's government is tyrannical and despotic. Constitutional carry has to be passed in the Hoosier state.

I hear what you are saying, but unless you can get the rules changed, I'm playing by the rules in place now.

$77 apply, $12 fingerprints, $54 submission I believe to State Police. We are going through the lifetime for my girlfriend. Johnson Co. had a one month wait for appointment for prints, we went to the testing place off of 69 down by Crane, got in within a week. They said 4-6 weeks to get it.

Just saying it`s despotic and heavy handed.

We should not have to buy or pay the state to carry our guns due to the right to keep and bear arms giving to us in the US Constitution. This is nothing more than a money collecting racket by the state. The State are racking in the money. And yes I had to buy my permit and get investigated before I could get my lifetime carry permit.

Years ago, I quit doing the 5 year concealed carry and went for the life time, around a hundred bucks IIRC, so I want my money back!
