I have had some that the dot was so big that it wasn't good for longer ranges. Mine is a 3 moa and I can see a deers head at 100 yards with it. 4moa on a turkey head should be fine. Ok, thanks buddy, I appreciate the help.

A 4 moa dot will cover 2" at 50 yds, 4" at 100 yds (approximately).

I`m supposing that nearly any red dot can be used as a turkey scope, although some lend themselves better to that task. Some are designed specifically for use as a turkey scope, while some are great general use scopes, suitable for handguns, rifles, or whatever. I`ve been given the ok to get a red dot, and am supposed to keep it around $150 or less, and am seriously thinking of this one: www.opticsplanet.com/bushnell-ar-optics-first-strike-2-0-reflex-sight-4-moa-red-dot-reticle-aimpoint.htmlWhatever red dot I end up with, aren't they all mounted on either a weaver or picatinny rail? There are two screws on the receiver of my BPS, so it`s apparently designed to accept either one. I`d love to know what anyone thinks of the Bushnell I`m considering... Ok, so, long drawn out story, but in a nutshell, I ordered this Bushnell red -dot for my Browning BPS turkey gun. I ordered it off the ExpertVoice website I have access to through through NRA, this website is available to any NRA member who is either an Endowment, Benefactor, or Patron member, and I`m a Life-Endowment member. The discount pricing is very good, and I ordered the Bushnell for only $140. Unfortunately, it`s on backorder and on this particular piece of equipment, it apparently allows you to place the order even though they know it`s not available, and I`ve been trying to order this thing since May, so I gave up. I just cannot afford to pay full price for this red-dot, and they aren`t supplying it at the discounted price at ExpertVoice, so, I`m settling for this: smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B003IDMLRQ/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&th=1&psc=1My buddy and his brother both have this red-dot and they love it. My buddy told me this morning he`s had his for 7 years or so, and never had an issue with it. So, it`s not the fancy one I was anticipating, but from what my friend told me, it works, and heck, I ordered it on Amazon Smile, and because of that, they even made a small donation to the organization I`ve chosen, Gun Owners of America.
