Seen something over on the neighbors I have never seen before in my life. Now, I am far from being an expert on turkey hunting, but I don't think this is how you do it.
Neighbor has his dekes out and his blind up and parked right next to his blind is his bright red truck. Now my dad used to park his truck next to the river we were fishing so he could listen to the ballgame, but I think fishing and hunting have a different set of best practices.
And I walked the farm the afternoon after my kill and the truck out in the middle of the field were hunters. They had a cardboard stand up one wall blind that was camo on one side and had orange on the other. Two guys behind one stand. And they're in the field off the fencerow and ditch. Why not get down in the dry ditch, use the natural brush for your cover and have most of your body down below field surface and out of sight? It works, cause that is the exact spot I shot a bird from a few years back, only in my field.
