Hi guys. Between work, my 4 month old and landscaping around the house I haven’t found much time to post. The opening Friday I was successful after chasing three toms for a couple hours. 20 lbs. 7/8” spurs and a 10.25” beard. Fun hunt that ended about 50 yards from my doorstep. imgur.com/a/eDCHVcc.

Team 5 25lbs on the nose 1” & 7/8” spurs Beard #1 & beard #2 10-1/4” each Not sure how to score. Help please...😁 imgur.com/a/xKod6GTSo I found the score calculator. It says to add the length of both beards into decimal form with weight and spur lengths. Gives a total of 84.75. Thoughts?

As far as the score goes, for the contest here you only count one beard length. 64.25

You know...that photo is suitable for framing. I`m serious, I`d have that enlarged, matted and framed. You`ll want that photo for generations.

Congrats to everybody! A long season for me, but I took in a lot of new first hand experiences and information. Already made upgrades, and got a few more planned. May try for a fall gun bird now too if our counties are included. Normally their just a target of opportunity during deer season for me.

Congrats to all. I passed this year with my moms needs. Good news she is out of the hospital and at my brothers place as of Saturday. Heart valve is okay. Between my in-laws and mom it's been a busy spring. All are doing better. I think the warm weather and spring energies are helping a lot.

As hard as it is to say, family comes even before hunting and the outdoors when it cones down to that. Good on you for making the sacrifice to take care of them.
