I put those exact night sights on my .45 XD. Looks pretty clean from the pictures. If needed, how can I “adjust” the sights? I see a set screw on the rear sight. Loosen and drift? Or some other way? I was told not to use a hammer and punch, there is a tiny glass vial in there that can be broken, you have to use a screw type push tool to shove them in. My factory sights were in so tight I had to take a dremel to cut the back one out to be able to push it out with the tool. Like they had the slide hot, inserted the sight and let it cool.

A good firm grip will be your friend. That should not be a problem two handed. Get a couple hundred rounds and have some fun. You will be asking which Dillon Press to buy next. Yep! I hope to find out a bit more today at the range. Haha! Not sure on a Dillon Press! I’m finding it hard enough to spend time with my Rock Chucker Supreme!! With the progressive, same time on the press will equal a lot more rounds. Loading 12 ga. on my Ponsness Warren, I can average 600 rounds/hour without any distractions.

100 rounds through her as shown below from 10 yards. With a good two handed grip, not a single failure. She ran flawlessly. With the S&B, when shooting one handed and limp wristed, I had 4 failures to feed. The same, one handed with the Armscor yielded no failures. My intent at the range was to mainly put some ammo through the gun to see how she'd perform. My initial impact was low and to the left on the center target. I simple walked her up with some "Kentucky windage." So far, I'm pretty pleased with how she performs. I'll break her down and give her a good cleaning and maybe hit the range once more tomorrow. And then I can hopefully meet up with the fella and see what kind of trade/deal we can agree upon.

I spent a good bit of time last night breaking the gun down and giving her a thorough look and cleaning. Lubed the slide a little more than before and decided to head to the range again. I pounded another 50 rounds through the Kimber with a third flavor of ammo, some FMJ MagTech. I had 2 failures to feed. To be specific, the spent case ejects just fine but the new case only makes it about halfway into the barrel. I go back to firing and she works fine. I’m not overly concerned about this but I’m looking for any input on how I might remedy this. Anybody got thoughts, let me know.

Great. Another 10mm to add to my list of 10mm to buy.

Same brand of ammo for the FTF" If so, just don't use that ammo. LOL

Apparently he’s got a Kimber Rapide in 10mm. Says he’s unhappy with it. Too many failures to feed and eject! Reminds me of a meme I saw this week! LOL!
