Ever hear of the NRA-ILA? or the NRA-PVF? That is, the National Rifle Association- Institute for Legislative Action, and the National Rifle Association- Political Victory Fund.
There are different arms of the "N.R.A.", and each have different functions regarding the 2nd amendment. I get daily, or weekly updates from both, as well as periodical updates from G.O.A., the 2nd Amendment Foundation...
While I agree the N.R.A. is an imperfect organization, they are still the 800 lb gorilla in the room. We need every last pro-2nd amendment advocate to be loud this election cycle. With the current surge in firearms/ammunition sales, I have high hopes for a sweep of the House of Representatives come November 3rd, as well as increasing the Republican majority in the Senate.
The Democrats have yet to field a candidate that can hold a candle to Trump in a one-on-one.
I do enjoy and appreciate all that G.O.A. has done, and continues to do, but don't think for a minute that the N.R.A. is sitting back on their laurels.

Of course I`ve heard of NRA-ILA as well as NRA-PVF. I`m an NRA Life-Endowment member. I was ecstatic when chris cox was finally booted, he was a waste of oxygen. But no, NRA isn`t sending out communications on ongoing attacks on our Second Amendment rights, they`ve been virtually silent. GOA on the other hand is extremely active and makes it as easy as possible to engage those who want to support Second Amendment rights and stem the tide of attacks on those rights.

I will support both if they stop the attack on our gun rights.

Our 8th District congressman would never vote for that bill. And there is no way the US Senate or the President would sign off on that bill.

I would assume you're correct.

What about when demon-crats have majorities in the House and the Senate? But more than any of that, the right to keep and bear arms ought to never be in jeopardy or under attack. Period.
