I am thinking about placing a scope on a Ruger .44 Carbine. I think it was made somewhere around 1979. It currently has a peep sight that I believe was probably from the factory, but not sure. I've looked around on the internet, but it's confusing to me as there seems to be a lot of different information.
Does anyone here have one with a scope mount on it? If so, could you tell me what base/mounts you used? I wouldn't mind seeing photos either.
Thanks!

The peep sight is factory installed. I had to remove mine to mount the scope. For the life of me I do not remember where I bought the mounts and rings for mine. The mounts are specific to the gun as the back mounts are not as tall as the front mounts I’ll try to do a little digging to jar my memory.
