I was in a Tire shop today placing an order when I spied a couple of antlers on a cabinet amid some other oddments, including a railroad spike and a jar full of nails. Turns out it was their "trophy collection," and everything up there had been removed from a tire. I had heard of an antler getting a tire before, but never seen an example.

I unfortunately have seen this first hand in my tractor tire a couple of years ago. Fortunately it was the front tire and not the rear which is ballasted.

I've heard of lots of farm equipment over the years getting flat tires from running over shed antlers, so it must be a fairly common occurrence.

Not uncommon when a buck is hit by a car.

I was overseeing a UST removal and excavation at a former gas station a few years ago. The building was being used as a tire store that specializes in ties for farm equipment. He told me they have a lot of tractor tires come in that are ruined by antler sheds.
