I would have bet a million dollars that no one would have ever bought one of those hats..........I was wrong! He had it on when we got the first 4 in about the first hour. Took it off and things slowed down. Flock after flock of high migrators but having a tough time getting them to come down. I just put the good luck hat back on

Where I work at, close to Kingsbury, Ive had flocks of Snows fly over at dusk recently .... when I lived down in Texas waaaay back in the 80's, we would hunt snows/ Specs/Blues in the wheat fields west of Houston around El Campo ... we shot dozens of those fowl ... what a blast it was ... I do kinda miss the waterfowl hunting I used to do back in the day .... deer and archery/BOWhunting kinda got in the way ;0)

Final tally was 14. Finished with 8 in the last hour. Doing a morning sit before tearing down and trekking home

Got one Sunday Morning. We barely saw anything. The low Saturday night was 47 and the farmer told us he heard them moving all night, so it appeared they moved north. We packed up early and went home. They jumped fields when they found them in Iowa. This was a good finish to a poor waterfowl season for me.
