I have been looking for a new thumb release. I been trying ro shoot different ones lately. Has anyone ever shot a hot shot brand release? Do you like it? No one near me sells them but the owner of the company has gone out of his way to try to accommodate me and i like the idea of doing buisness with a small guy if possible.

I'm glad to hear he's trying hard to do good business. Would or has he offered to send you a trial release? I would look into their warranty also. That says a lot about their confidence in their product. I'm really big into customer service as well and it sounds like he is communicating well with you, so that's a plus in my book.

He has offered me a discount on a release. Also offered to pay shipping back if i dont like it. They have a lifetime warranty and make all releases at their in house machine shop in unites states.

I have been shooting the Hot Shot Vapor 3 finger for the last two seasons. Amazing release. Super smooth and the sensitivity is very adjustable. The knurled thumb knob is also adjustable so that you can get the perfect angle on it to meet up with your thumb how it needs to. I don't think you'll be disappointed.

That's good to know that someone is still making a thumb release. I learned with one and can't use a trigger finger release, my brain just isn't wired that way. I took a finger release, modified the trigger so I could use my thumb and it works great, but of course that voids the warranty. If I was in the market for one I'd buy one from them.
