I just got a gadget from a guy in CA that might actually help me shoot a compound. I looked at them today, and some of the new ones are very light, but killed my shoulder holding it. Too many other problems with my health to worry about my shoulder, and crossbow doesn't hurt me.

However, this simple gadget might just help me with standing shots or even using a compound bow. I'm going to field test this thing. If it really helps me, I'll share it.

You do not need a crossbow license if you buy a bundle. If you buy the bundle you do not have to buy any other license to hunt deer.

That's what I thought, but was getting a little worried when I read the older posts. I've got my eye on a new one. LOL The season is so long that it's more practical for me to get a crossbow than another gun, but of course, I want another dozen of them too.
