Here's the equipment Mr. Troubridge used in case any of ya'll didn't read it somewhere else.
Stock Emax Double walled carbon arrow w/ weights 125 gr Magnus 2 blade cut on contact 900 gr total weight 255 fps 125 ft. lbs. of K.E. 20 yd shot if I recall correctly Recovered at about 150 yds. 4000 lbs of meat to natives.
The shot was on a slight quartering away angle, arrow lodged in off side leg bone, or would have been a pass-thru on full broadside shot.

Pretty wild. Lots of good meat for the natives. I'd go do that, but where would I put an elephant head in my 1000 SQ ft home?

This veideo and story helps to fuel the arguement that the crossbow SHOULD NOT be treated any differently than a compound. That shot was taken at 15 to 18 yards. There wasn't anything done differently than a hunter with a compound would have done.
I am glad that I have my Titan TL4

WOW!!
Is this a first?
I've never heard of a crossbower doing that. Numerous bowhunters have doen it, but never a crossbower.
