Small body's of water including marshes are frozen,bigger lakes are open.
Yesterday while deer hunting both morning and evening I only saw a total of 4 ducks and approx. 100 geese and that was just before dark.
The flooded corn at Kankakee is frozen as well as some of the marsh blinds, the local duck clubs have have a little bit of open water but dam few duck.
