Go figure. My son and friend just left with trailer and I'm eating breakfast and a doe walks by. O-well

Nothing for me so far. However, the neighbor just tagged a doe. It's her second deer with a bow.

Switched spots where I shot a mature 9 pt 4 years ago. Eased in as quiet as possible, and right away I saw 6, 2 bucks 2 doe and 2 youngins. They cruised by on the opposite side of a drainage ditch so I sat down behind a big hickory, 20 minutes passed and 1 Doe comes back. Pull the crossbow up and yep, I shot right over her back and planted my shwacker broadhead and bolt right into a tree that was directly behind her. Yep, I sure hope my season gets better or I'll need to buy stock in broadheads and bolts lol.

Hit a 150s ten point, hit him high and lost blood. Any tracking dogs around vanderburgh county.

Killed a doe last night. Quartering towards me. Shot looked good , right behind shoulder. Waited a HR and started trackimg. Went 150 yds and bedded but got back up, so backed out and waited 2 more hrs.. Went back out and found her 100 more yds. away, BUT not B4 damn coyotes ate one hind quarter. Glad I didn't leave over night.... Saw 4 small bucks and 6 doe last night all on acorns.

He went about 100 yards in some thick woods. The shot was about 35 yards but I had to thread the needle to hit him good. He was in the thick willows heading for the corn. I shot high because I used the 40 yard pin. He had me busted and stood in the willows for 30 minutes so I finally saw a spot to shoot. He ran pass me so I could see the arrow in his back but very little blood. I would find a drop here and there as I tracked.
