Had a dry spell and was able to finally get my food plots planted, four plots totaling 7 acres. Had been doing soybeans last couple years but weed control was getting tough, so planted everything in a nice alfalfa clover mix which is great all around food. Also planted a 1/4 acre pumpkin patch just for fun.
Will likely do a few strips of turnips in the plots later this summer, and a few small plantings of beans in a couple new locations.
