Here's the single we called in early Sunday morning. He stayed 200 yards out and we had a 15-20mph cross wind. I just wasn't comfortable with the shot, standing with a tripod. I probably got have gotten prone, but I thought he was going to keep coming in.

Maybe next time the wind won't be so bad. Good to meet you and your dad. You have some awesome state of the art equipment was cool to look at the cows with it.

Greetings Great effort in awful night time hunting conditions. As you say the wind and rain just about makes it impossible with night vision of lamp. If I am hunting them as opposed to sitting waiting i like the wicked light on the scope, I find focusing my night sight a pain, where the normal scope is always perfect. The shooting season here is almost over time for the foxing to begin. Regards Billy.

I have a green bulb for it, but didnt think about switching it out and going with the regular glass. The thermal scanner still worked great in the snow.
