Man I dont know. She was bay hogs Sunday before last. She didnt get cut or bumped that I could tell. She was fine all week and then one day I go out and she doesn't want to come out of her house and is holding a back leg up. I checked her leg and it wasn't broke. So I've been doctoring on her and she seems to be getting better. When I came in from hunting today and let her out first thing she did was head to my truck and smelled the hogs that we caught and lookes at me like i can't believe you went without me. It got bad cold a few nights ago maybe she got cold slipped I don't know. She's in the house now. She's 7 and this is the first time she's ever lived in the house, but she's my girl. Caught several hundred hogs with her.

Mine tweaked her right shoulder/leg a few months ago and now when she does a lot of running she's limping that night. She's 8. Glad to hear it wasn't anything serious.

Have you ever tried that cosquin or dinovite. I've never used it but I'm thinking I might give it a shot. She is seven but due to some hog battles she's been in she is probably a year or two older. She is the kind of dog that won't let one run. If they turn their back to her she is sinking teeth. Makes it fun to hunt behind her because you catch a lot of hogs but she has been been banged up pretty good a few times.

I did for a Springer I had that had Hip Displasia, and it seemed to help a bit. I would also give her half a baby aspirin twice a day.

I'm back at work but my buddies are tearing them up at the house with some boys from Iowa. They have been at it since Thursday and have filled up some coolers. It's still a wet mess so the hunting conditions aren't exactly great but they have been mud bogging and hog dogging. Ha. Hopefully it drys out some between now and Valentine's weekend so we can go catch a big old sweetheart hog.

-21°F on the thermometer this morning. Damn. That's crazy cold. I worked in Russia a while and I saw - 50 but the wind didn't blow much. -21 with any wind would be ridiculous. 65 and 45 down here south of San Antonio

Yeah, it was brutal in the wind. The furnace in the house would shut off for 5 minutes and kick on again for 20.

Yeah I raise most of them myself. Most of mine are cross bred. Yellow BMC and Catahoula. The BMC was the daddy and the pups showed very little catahoula in them. The next generation did though. Got several leopard pups.
