Beyond the normal Thanksgiving fixins, my wife added a few extra touches on the wild game side. First she made a huge batch of Gramma's Dutch Deerball soup. This is a recipe her mother brought back from Holland, only using ground deer meat from last year's buck instead of beef. This was complimented with my homemade wheat bread, kneaded and baked on Saturday! And then she thawed the breast fillets from the turkey I harvested this past Spring. She used a recipe from our daughter-in-law. Parmesan crusted Wild Turkey. This is turning out to be one of my favorites.

You may need to share that turkey recipe, that is if I ever get another turkey.
