My wife has been having health issues and had some test done. An ultrasound found that her uterus is "full of fibroid tumors" and she has cyst on both ovaries. One being a large one. The Dr called yesterday morning and had her go into the hospital for immediate CA-125 ( cancer screen) blood work. She will, at the very least, have to have an endometrial ablation with a tubal done. Possibly a full hysterectomy. We can use all the prayers we can get. Thanks.

Prayers sent. As a positive note I know many more survivors that 30 years ago.

Update... She has to have a hysterectomy. Her right ovary is suppose to be 2-3 cm but it's 14. 9 cm cyst. Her left is 8 cm. They will try and keep the left ovary after they remove the cyst from it and they ensure there's no cancer. However, her CA-125 test (cancer screen) should have been a 35 but, she's at 80. Her gyno said she always sends people straight to oncology when they reach 100. So that's what's going on. Her surgery is the 29th. Thanks for the prayers already sent and please continue to send more.

Thanks for the update! It seems to be great news. I know little about cancer. Any idea about the 80 result?

No not really. They said they will know more once they get the right ovary out and examine it

Glad it went well. I’ve been there with my wife about 6 years ago or so. She will need a lot of support in the coming weeks and I’m sure you will take care of her. Hoping recovery goes well.
