I’ve always used baking soda in my hunting clothes tote. Thought I’d try Ozone.

I bought one and it worked on my son's sock. I'm going to put in my pocket when hunting.

Well guys what's your thoughts and opinions now?
I just learned not to keep my boots in my hunting tote, seems they are damp inside and the only way they got damp was from my feet. Which are the foulest on this planet judging by my socks at the end of the day and the fact that my work boots stay in the trunk of my car.

I have not spooked a deer yet, but at the same time every deer I've seen has been up wind. I put it in my front pocket of my coat.

I found Scent Slammer by HME. Similiar product and price at 29.99. Claims 18 hour battery life and 3m or 106ft. Says it is 5v but the charger they make is also a car ozone device. It's 24.99.
Gonna try it on my work boots and plastic tote for first test.

Today with zero wind this morning it worked great. I could smell it at times. That spike walked all around my oak tree eating acorns. Never smelled me.

OK I gotta ask.............. are these things kinda like dog whistles you can't tell if they are really working you just gotta believe they are.

ROFL.
Mine is only 2mg an hour. I suspect ok for a tote. Correct me if I'm wrong but there seems to be a smell of its own. But I question if mine is working properly as it has a hum to it I didn't notice the first trial.

You should be able to smell the ozone. Plus ozone will make you cough if you breathe to much.

Yep. No thank you. Good for getting smoke smell out of vehicle interior, though.

I worked for a company did carpet cleaning and construction and remodeling. On the carpet van we had a ozone machine that would get rented for apartments that had heavy smokers. I remember my boss always instructed to get the heck out once he turned it on. Then no one was allowed in the unit for 24 hours only to shut the machine off then another 12 or 24 hours before anyone could go back in after shutting it off.
Definitely not a toy. But I think the small ones are not as bad due to a low volume. It's meant for a tote or a bag. I had very good results with scent killer spray last year I still plan on using it regardless of haveing some ozone device. I think the plus would help by lightening the wash loads between use of garments there for extending the life of garments.
I currently have my ozone device in a closet of our rental house that smells like a carton of cigarettes was smoked in there at one time. It's the only closet I didn't finish painting when we moved in. It reaks!
