I’m fine guys..
My wife had a mild heart attack back a few months ago. She was blindsided by the calcium in her heart arteries.
I thought I should get mine checked out and went for the $49 heart scan at Deaconess. That showed some calcium build up but my doctor said it was average for my age.
I had some chest discomfort so we decided to do a stress test. That showed some blockage on two arteries so yesterday’ I had two stints inserted. I’m home now and I'm feeling fine.
Gonna be some lifestyle changes and on some blood thinner and cholesterol medications. My cholesterol is only 170 but the cardiologist wants it around 100 because of the stints.
My wife’s medical problems and now this has put a damper on my deer hunting. Might be towards the end of next week before I get out again.
Thanks for the concerns..

It's amazing what can be done if they catch it soon enough. Even open heart surgery with multiple bypasses can have a full recovery.
