I've seen dummies in tree stands before, had to do a double take before I realized it wasn't a person. My question is when do you take them out of the tree? I suppose you could leave one up in a two man and then have someone to talk to! lol And you wont have to tell him to be quite and sit still!

I have seen folks hang a shirt on a hanger in a tree stand to give some limited motion for the deer to get used to. I have orange whip flags on my shooting blinds and the deer don't care. I like hunting from an actual stand when bow hunting in the early season....it's just the way hunting was meant to be. I however quickly seek a blind when the temps drop and the wind and rain and snow start to be an issue. My blinds are set up for firearms use only, but they do spoil a person pretty quickly. I also like having a real good rest to shoot from. Many of my bow stands lack a shooting rail....because my clumsy butt will bang a cam or the like on them in the heat of the moment.
