I never get drawn anymore for anything. Last 5 years unsuccessful expect for a deer hunt I swear I never even applied for. Haven't shot a dove in years.

Ended up with 9 of them. 6 I got and 3 given to me. Had a good time opening day. 2nd day was awful all I got was a sunburn. Thanks to @ deadeer for coming out on opening day!  |

I had a very good time. Wes is a really straight forward guy, and is as eager to be a good sportsman as anybody I ever met. Was worried about the weather forecast, but it ended up being great. My shooting left a lot to be desired, as I went 3 for 32 shots. But, my buddy who is retired from wingshooting, said the average was 1 dove for every 15 shots fired. So I feel a little better after hearing that. Lol. All in all, it was an enjoyable day out with a great hunting partner, successful or not. |
