After much conversation with other hunters on their favorite way to fix wild turkey, I opted for a super simple old-timers method. At the heart of the process was trying to convince my wife and grandson that it is really tasty if prepared correctly. This would be one breast with a few smaller cuts from leg and thigh. I let my grandson tenderize them with the hammer. Then, Marinated overnight in a buttermilk and 1 egg mix with a tsp of salt. Using a very cool custom knife from my ole buddy "jack", I cut them into tender bit sizes. Breading was 1-1/2 cups of flour, 1 tblspn baking powder, 1 tspn salt. Deep fried at 375 for 3-5 minutes depending on amount of tenders: Add your dip of choice. You can add spice as you want. I'm not a hot and spicy kind of guy so this would probably be pretty bland for some people! As for my grandson: And my wife (who absolutely refused to eat wild turkey before): They absolutely loved these!

That's the best part about being a hunter is getting to experiment with cooking the harvest. My wife never ate any wild game or fish till she met me now we try and out do each other in the kitchen when we cook wild stuff.

That is the best way to fix it imo, hard to beat other than injecting and deep frying
