Alright you experienced plotters I need a few tips. For a fall plot and after a soil test when and what order do I perform the following : kill off current vegetation, apply lime and apply fertilizer and plant crop. Obviously I know plant crop is last and I was thinking plant late July early august, is that correct. I'll be planting beets, turnips, radishes, pumpkins, sunflowers and maybe a patch of throw n grow clover and brassica.

I wouldn’t wait that long for pumpkins When would you recommend? Late May early June at latest pumpkin takes a long time to grow and you are good ways up north.

I would get soil test done asap. I would spray glyphosate (round up) now. Let it all die down. Some of the seed you mentioned can't just be broadcast. Once the first spray has killed the area, I would work the ground, fertilize, spray again, let dry, put seed out and drag take it in. Before a rain would be best.

Lime needs to go down ASAP because it takes a few months for the lime to raise the PH in the soil. Next I would spray your vegetation killer.

Might think about the pumpkins more. If your putting them out for food plots. Deer have a harder time breaking them open to eat. It's illegal to go break them open for food. Just what I've read so far. Idk this information to be factual
