Amazing how hot already! I dressed way too warm. Only thing I’ve heard is a few owls early on. Yeah wasn't much better yesterday. Very quiet woods here too. I still wish they would start just a little earlier; maybe up north it's OK but even a week would help in the southern parts of the State

Cotton: learn to except defeat and start planning for next year and keep this in mind ( YOUR NOT HALF THE MAN YOU THOUGHT YOU WERE). It could be worse you could be going fishing next week with Schall53 and have to listen to his stories about how he went 3 for 3 for 3 in 3 different states. We could start a support group and judging by the harvest reports we would have a packed house. LOL, are you picking on me again.

Me and ole Tom had us a sunrise service this morning down in Parke County! Strutboy is down! Actually he ain’t an old one. Spurs are something under an inch so probably a 2 year old. Don’t have my tape measure so that’ll be later. Rapala fish scale got him at 23 lb and 12 oz! He never gobbled once! Called Mama and she said, “that’s good now get home and shower so we can get to church!! We got a full day and you can play with your turkey later!”😂

Well guys Mother's Day festivities kept me busy all day but we still had a morning hunt. I was tagged out but working hard to get my dad on one. We had a very difficult season compared to past seasons. But this last morning we had, we called one into 20 yards and dad knocked him on his back! Very excited for him! Glad we didn't throw it in!
