Your not missing much up here in LaPorte county, all these guys trying to win a turkey hunting contest have shot up all the birds. I hope there are more than 3!

Raining here in Valpo now and looks to be the rest of the day. Rain down here in Rensselaer too. I'm done for the day as I have things to tend to

Slooooow here in Owen county. Maybe 3 or 4 gobbles before fly down then silence. Then had 2 hens come out in field and brought a longbeard with them. I did a few soft yelps and the hens came with in 30 yards of decoys. Longbeard started my way and around a 100 yards he freaked out when he saw the decoys and headed back the way he came. IDK what there deal is this year. I have Saturday and Sunday left.

Got out this eve just as rain stopped. Goy out early just it started to down pour again. I seen and heard nada.

3 hens just pitched out into the field. 100 yards are so in front of me. Toms are on the ground gobbling in the woods still.

I got a BIG TOM in neighbors field with 3 hens. With my naked eye I can see his beard at 235 yards away.
