Back at it again this morning. Birds were roosting near me, but I think they are not here again today.

Can hear 4 different gobbles. One is roosted where they always do. Now just hope he flies into the field I’m on.

Well they all flew down the other way because some guy decided to walk all the way across the field I’m on.

Zero gobbles this morning, not even in the distance - uh oh Don’t you just hate that? On these type of days I have keep reminding myself - “Just because they are not gobbling doesn’t mean they aren’t here ..somewhere”.

2 Tom's- got them turned around and headed my direction. There is enough cover between us I lost sight of them for 15 minutes now. Don't know where they are

This Tom came in gobbling and drumming like crazy. 25-35 yds to the side of me. He's been hanging around for almost an hour or more and won't budge. He starts coming then backs off. So frustrating.

Well, the farmer planted the 30 acres sandwiched between some nice hardwoods so the place was abuzz with equipment yesterday afternoon. Dead quiet! Now I’m in the “might as well get the heck out of here and go do something productive” mode!

Either they parked right there or more likely cut hard left from that spot. Anything else and I would have eyes on them

Well that was an interesting and exciting experience. Unfortunately I couldn't hold my #2 any longer so either myself or the bird had to make a move. I tried to slick out of the blind and army crawl close enough to get a shot but it didn't work. However I got to take care of other business and now feel relieved. Win win situation if you ask me.
