Two things: 1- does it float? 2- why do you need all those storage pockets when that sort of stuff goes in your fanny pack or turkey vest.

Two things: 1- does it float? 2- why do you need all those storage pockets when that sort of stuff goes in your fanny pack or turkey vest. Good questions. 1. Never hunted turkeys over water. 2. I hate a turkey vest. Every one I have owned are too hot to wear. So my thinking is that I'll fill the pockets with the intended stuff: Calls, ammo, rangefinder Therma Cell etc, and then have more room for food and drinks in my backpack. I get hungry and thirsty on all day hunts. Might even fit in a pillow for my mid day nap.

Nice case , but I use hard cases , and a turkey vest is much easier , they make em light and cooler , no hotter than carrying a back pack IMO . To each his own use what works for you

I don’t hunt turkey or use gun cases so I don’t have a dog in this fight. But I prefer a pack over a vest with every other hunting

My gun case stays in the vehicle when I am hunting, I just use it to protect and conceal the gun while in transportation to and from the house.
The reason I mentioned a floating gun case is because from time time my gun has been transported in a boat to and from a duck blind and it's nice to have that extra insurance against loosing your gun in deep water and besides that extra padding is extra protection.

My answer was a joke. No disrespect intended. Guess I wasn't funny, sorry

Case arrived today. No buyer's remorse. Well made. Has the NWTF logo so I am sure they got paid part of the proceeds. I paid near half of what I pay for some cases from Boyt. Glad to be able to help NWTF other than just being a member
Edit to add: Drake Waterfowl in Olive Branch Mississippi gets a high five. Delivered in two days. Told them I needed it by Monday when I am heading to KY. They are good.
