I grabbed an early deer rifle tag for Colorado! Would have taken 3 points in the draw, but a "freebie" off the reissued tag list. I got my Colorado deer tag last year the same way.
It's about 2 hours from where I'm hunting in Wyoming. I should have at least 2 weeks to bounce back/forth and try to kill a couple bucks!

The time is here again.
I just submitted my Arizona elk application, draw odds are pretty low. Spin the wheel enough times though, and I'm bound to get lucky sooner or later.

Put in my Wyoming elk application. One BIL should pull a general bull tag, while I, my dad, and another BIL put in for cow only tags. About 30% odds on those.

I applied in New Mexico today, deer/elk/javelina. Javelina is about 60%, deer and elk odds are very low.
Arizona has a major malfunction in their draw process this year, they are almost 3 weeks past their deadline to conduct the draw and collect the ensuing payments. Hopefully they release their results prior to the Colorado deadline.

I have put in again for the draw hunt in IL. It is, for NOW, on  I will also be hopefully drawing a buck tag here in CO. As for non-draw hunts, I am planning on whitetail hunts in IN and WI. I am also going to try and concentrate on some waterfowl this year. |

Also you cannot pick the area that you want to hunt in, the state picks it for you. If you and a buddy wanted to hunt together, you might be sent to one area, your buddy another area. Unless things have changed. |
