Is there any point in frost seeding anything soon into beets and greens food plot for turkeys knowing it will b tilled and replanted in August? Frost seeding is an incredible soil builder and a great food source in the spring green up period where a say brassica plot most likely will be void of nutrient dense plants unless your localized weed bed explodes good, in which case I guarantee you will have a great spring and summer food source (depending on plants comprising it). At least for me food plots are more for the deer's overall health not my hunting convenience. I prefer to attempt to provide deer food sources especially during two of the most stressful time frames...post season January till green up and then middle of the summer especially in dry periods.

Local place called Crop Tech. Just generic purple top turnips and forage radishes. Yipes, roughly 250 miles from here.....
