I've have been living in Iowa and moved back to indiana in aug. Most of the private ground is not available to me anymore. I have 6 beagles I love to watch run. Taking the rabbit is no. 2 on the list .so if anyone has some tips on some good state properties or want to run dogs

No f&w property in Indiana beats Glendale for rabbits. Gets hammered hard in the early season. We were out there three weeks ago and there were 5 other people signed in to run dogs. If you want some good running and to test your dogs in the nastiest thickest cover you can find, Interlake is where you need to go. Down by Linton. Old reclaimed strip mines. Nothing but serecia grass as far as the eye can see. It's fun to run there because it's used as an off road vehicle area so there are nice roads. Lots of rabbits but it will beat and tear your dogs up. Gets hunted quite a bit but never had a problem getting rabbits up. Need to be sure of where you are because the beagle club leases some property out down there and you don't want to be on their property. Atterbury is bad, real bad. I like Wilbur Wright when I can get up there. Used to live 15 minutes from there so I learned quite a bit of the area. Areas are better than others.

I did see one single rabbit while driving through there a few weeks ago.

I think you're talking about the section on Greene Sullivan. Not a bad place to run, not my favorite but plenty of rabbits to chase. I'm talking about Interlake sra. It's actually in warrick county. If you do a Google search the place will come up.
