Well I made it out to willow Slough at 9:00am . Quit a bit of shooting was going on . I checked the Dove harvest and it was at 1609 birds .

I went out opening day to Goose Pond and shot 8. Went out the next day to a private farm in Greene County and limited in 90 minutes.

Could probably limit out under my bird feeder in the yard with one shot.

Does season get better towards October or is earlier better? I train a few Labradors and would love to have the chance to shoot a few birds for them. Anyone know of a good area north of Indy?
