Deer are hammering my apple trees. Ate all the apples off one and picked a couple more pretty clean. All trees are 5-7 feet tall now and deer over browsing has not been an issue until this year. How are you all keeping the deer out? Thinking I might put a 2 line then one line hot fence around all of them?? Something like this but with the solar charger and equipment I have www.btibrands.com/product/hot-zone-deer-exclosure-system/Anybody done this??

Just cage them. Rebar stakes and some 4' tall fencing.

I buy full sized trees. Already 10'to 12' tall and produce apples right away. Just protect trunk with plastic. Last ones I bought were $35- $40 each. Personally buying the small hybrids are a waste of time IMO.
